Beata Krupa
Communication Coach
Beata Krupa is a Lecturer in Management - Communication at the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business and a full time Lecturer in Professional and Engineering Communications at the Rice Center For Engineering Leadership (RCEL). Beata has over 15 years of experience teaching business and leadership communication. She taught communication courses at NYU, College of New Rochelle, and Jones International University (JIU). At JIU she also served as a Business Communication department Chair. Prior to joining Rice faculty, she was an academic administrator for private higher education institutions. She served as a VP of Academic Operations at the first regionally accredited, fully online university. She was also responsible for the regional accreditation of a large, multi-campus, multi-state college.
Beata’s writing and research interests focus on new media uses in business, interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, online pedagogy, and technology applications in teaching. Beata has a Ph.D. in Media and Culture from NYU.
