Brian Jackson

Brian Jackson is the Senior Manager of Origination at Earthrise Energy, leading renewable energy power purchase agreement origination across the U.S. His career in renewables spans commercial structuring, market strategy, and M&A. Before transitioning to renewables, he worked in oil and gas as both a landman and an attorney. He is a co-host of the Owl Have You Know podcast, where he engages with leaders and innovators from the Rice Business community. 

Recently moving from Boston, Brian enjoys exploring Houston with his dog, Jet, and his partner, Trace. He can often be found biking, golfing, or spending time on the water. He is also committed to mentoring young professionals and advocating for LGBTQ+ representation in business. Brian holds a B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University, a J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, and an MBA from Rice Business (class of 2021).
