What has been the most surprising part of your Rice MBA experience? My Rice MBA journey that has amazed me the most is the incredible support from second-year students during recruitment, along with the unwavering encouragement from my cohort throughout the entire process. The environment here is incredibly supportive, with countless individuals cheering for each other's success and genuinely wishing the best for one another.
What has been your favorite thing about your MBA experience so far? The highlight of my experience has undoubtedly been the networking opportunities. Engaging with students from various programs, listening to their career journeys, understanding what drew them to Rice, and connecting with alumni across diverse fields has been invaluable. The professional advice shared during these interactions has been truly enriching and has helped me solidify my career path.
What do you love most about Houston? Having grown up in Houston, I deeply appreciate its diversity, food variety, sports teams (especially the Houston Astros), and amazing running weather. With a background in commercial real estate, I'm fully aware of Houston's remarkable growth and anticipate the exciting development that lies ahead for the city. I'm thrilled to contribute to Houston's evolution as I embark on my journey with the Hines development team.
What is one piece of advice you would share with a prospective student? Remain open to the experiences and individuals you come across at Rice Business School; there's a wealth of knowledge to gain from both.
