Edmund Donaldson

Edmund Donaldson serves as Executive Managing Director, Portfolio Management for USAA Real Estate Company. Mr. Donaldson is responsible for establishing and implementing the investment strategy for the USAA Eagle Real Estate Fund which is a signature open ended, diversified investment vehicle. He has been responsible for the growth of the Eagle Fund by over $2 billion in gross asset value.
Edmund joined USAA Real Estate Company in 2014 from Hines, where he was a senior managing director and member of their Capital Markets Group, he also served as chief investment officer of the Hines U.S. Core Office Fund, Hines REIT and Hines Global REIT with responsibility for investments of over $13billion in assets. During his 20 years with Hines, Edmund invested across asset classes in over 30 major U.S. markets as well as in the United Kingdom, Russia, Poland, France, Germany, Australia and Brazil.
Edmund earned his Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego (1989), and Master of Business Administration from Rice– Jones Graduate School of Business (1991).
