Konnie Haynes-Welsh

Konnie Haynes-Welsh is the vice president and treasurer at ConocoPhillips. She joined the company in 2012 and has since held various leadership roles in reporting, planning, strategy and accounting, including chief accounting officer. Prior to ConocoPhillips, Haynes-Welsh worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their energy assurance practice, where she was selected for a global leadership program. She left in 2008 to join Mariner Energy, where she served as assistant controller through their 2011 acquisition by Apache.

Haynes-Welsh started her career with a B.S. and MPA in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a CPA in Texas and serves on the dean’s advisory council for the McCombs School of Business. With her extensive experience across accounting, reporting, planning and strategy, Haynes-Welsh brings financial leadership to her current role as treasurer of ConocoPhillips.
