Leila Peyravan

Leila Peyravan is an assistant professor of accounting at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. Her research interests are generally focused on how information quality, in the context of a firm’s financial reporting quality and accounting practices, affects debt and equity markets. She earned her Ph.D. in accounting from University of Toronto. She also holds a master of business administration in finance and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, both from University of Toronto. Dr. Peyravan is also a CFA Charter holder since 2010. Previously, she worked as a consultant and financial analyst.
