Robert Flatt

Robert N. Flatt, B.A. (1969), M.E.E. (1970) Rice University; M.B.A. (1973) Harvard University, adjunct professor of administrative science, teaches production and operations management. Since 1973 he has held administrative positions with Cameron Iron Works at plants and offices in the United States and England. His responsibilities have included strategic planning, product management, plant management, marketing, and quality management. Cameron was purchased by Cooper Industries in 1989 and is now a part of Cooper Cameron Corporation, which was split off from Cooper in July 1995. Robert served as an officer of the new company holding positions as vice president of the drilling and aftermarket businesses from 1995 to 1999. He then helped coordinate implementation of Lean Six Sigma serving as director of Six Sigma training. Robert is currently on disability retirement due to Parkinson's disease.
