Sebastian is a first-year professional MBA student with a dynamic background in industrial engineering and a master's degree in operations research and statistics from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. He is a seasoned professional with a passion for driving positive change in the realms of sustainability, clean energy, and project finance.
His journey began in Latin America, where he gained valuable experience as a finance advisor to companies spanning various industries, including a significant focus on circular economy initiatives with a specific emphasis on managing the lifecycle of plastics.
In 2023, he embarked on a new chapter in his career journey by relocating to Houston, Texas, where he discovered an inspiring world of clean energy and decarbonization upon joining the multinational EPC company, Worley. He is focused on enhancing his understanding of carbon capture and energy transition strategies at Worley, recognizing their pivotal role in mitigating climate change and advancing the transition to a low-carbon economy.
By immersing himself in these critical areas, he aims to contribute meaningfully to Worley's mission while also furthering his own professional growth and development.
