Simon Seaton, chief executive officer and executive vice-president of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, oversees global operations from offices in Dallas, Houston, Calgary, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai. Formerly CEO at Sodexo Energy and Resources Worldwide, a Cardiff University graduate, and ex-Halliburton executive, he's a 27-year SPE member, authoring over 20 technical papers and articles.
